Horse Training

Cutting horse training involves a highly customized approach to assessing an individual horse’s physical ability and mental capacity to be an excellent horse-citizen as well as a successful cutting show-pen competitor. Each situation is different and therefore I spend time talking to prospective clients about their training needs. Together, we determine if their horse is a good fit for our training program. Typically, I asked to see a video of their horse or I extend an invitation for a day visit to discuss goals and assess the horse’s ability.

My niche is in training futurity prospects, limited age-event horses as well as the weekend competitor. I take great pride in treating our horses just like professional athletes with a highly structured training schedule involving 4-6 days of training per week.
